New Balance is an unstoppable machine across athletic apparel, especially when it comes to footwear. Whether it be the 2002r, 991v2, 1906R, 990v6, 475 or one of its other silhouettes, the brand's extensive arsenal and continuously refreshed colorways are what lends itself to a successful portfolio. With the summer heat still blazing, the Boston-based brand is tossing up a season-ready offering of its 991v2 shoe in "Brandied Apricot."
Although the shoe appears in a hairy suede body, don't be fooled as it is still the right shoe for the summer. What lends itself to the seasonal fun is its deep pink-hued "Brandied Apricot" color that washes the entirety of the shoe's upper – covering the suede and mesh components. The biggest contrast to the pink shade is the midsole and outsole which see shades of white, beige and black alongside pops of navy blue and gray.
Also complementing the shoes' pink-hued upper are embroidered tongue details in navy, v2 heel embroidery in navy, a 991 decal in gray and navy and the classic "N" logo in silver. Take a closer look at the new offering in the gallery above.
Retailing for $250 USD, New Balance's 991v2 in "Brandied Apricot" is set to be released this month through New Balance and select retailers.
