Update: After surfacing earlier this year, we now have an official visual breakdown of the "Dune Red" colorway of the Air Jordan 13. Releasing for the first time later this month, the pair notably sports a combination of white and various red hues, creating a contrast-heavy finish that is sure to stand out. The shoe remains anticipated as a June 25 launch via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $210 USD. For more info about the pair, revisit our initial rundown below.
Original Story: The Air Jordan 13s are proving to be a fan favorite. Due to their popularity, the Jordan Brand continues to expand its offerings with a string of new colorways. The upcoming new hue for the titular high-top sees a "Dune Red" iterations surface for the summer months.
Pictured above via mock-up, it takes a page out of the Mars planets' deep red hues, which initially emerged as an edition for the exclusive Air Jordan 5 "Mars For Her" just last year. Red and orange tints come together for the Martian aesthetic which sees most of the canvas upper in the deeper hue while the lighter tone hits the midsole and heel counter. The shoe's tongue is in white leather to complement the laces and match a portion of the sole. The Jumpman logo remains prominent on the tongue while the heel sees a semi-translucent green jewel.
The Air Jordan 13 "Dune Red" is expected to release on June 25, 2024 at select retailers and online at Nike for $210 USD. For an early preview of the sneaker itself, check out the embedded gallery below.
