The 42-year-old Nike Air Force 1 has taken on myriad new forms throughout its time as one of the sportswear brand's most-heralded silhouettes. Among them, the Nike Air Force 1 Wild, which was formally introduced in the latter half of 2023, transforms the flagship silhouette with a more durable, textural finish. Building on the variety of monochromatic iterations that arrived at launch, as well as the "Beige" colorway that debuted earlier this year, Nike has just shared a first look at the design's latest makeover in "Olive/Orange."
Swapping the original sneaker's classic leather overlays and Swooshes for a textural mesh facade, this latest design is constructed to take on rugged, outdoor terrains. The "Olive" tone controls much of the design, sprawling across the base, the eyestays, the lateral forefoot and the Air Humara-inspired midsole. The "Orange" hue, meanwhile, appears on the laces and the bright heel insert. Rounding out the specs, the fruitful color also backdrops Nike branding on both the tongue and the heel.
The Nike Air Force 1 Wild "Olive/Orange" is expected to release this fall, though the brand has not yet shared an exact release date. The shoe will arrive via Nike SNKRS and select retailers for the price of $145 USD. Take a look at the silhouette in the gallery above.
