Marcus Jordan's Trophy Room once again teamed up with Jordan Brand earlier this year for a project involving the Air Jordan 1 Low OG. Arriving three years after the duo's notorious take on the high-top version of the silhouette, they drew inspiration from Michael Jordan's rookie season and sports cards with a “Rookie Card – Away” take. While a "Home" version of the release was teased at the time, it ultimately has remained unreleased in the months since.
Now, as we anticipate a possible summertime release for its sequel, a detailed look at the "Home" pair has surfaced. Rumored to be limited to a mere 1,000 pairs, this preview of a sample notably sports many of the same details as its predecessor. In addition to the same white base at the midfoot, red overlays with a tonal Trophy Room logo at the lateral and black heel with a tonal signature at the lateral and golden Wings hardware at the rear, two key changes have been made. The black embroidered Swooshes have been replaced with white ones while the toe box sports a polyester construction.
At the time of writing, neither Trophy Room nor Jordan Brand have confirmed when the "Home" colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG will be releasing. Stay tuned for updates, including the design's official visual breakdown, as we currently expect it to land on shelves this summer exclusively via Trophy Room at a price of $140 USD.
