Last December, Nikola Jokíc announced that he would be leaving Nike to represent Chinese Brand, 361 Degrees. Now, months later, Jokíc has revealed four SpongeBob Squarepants-themed basketball shoes with the brand.
In a recent announcement from ESPN's Nick DePaula, the NBA insider revealed images of the sneaker collection which seems to take design inspiration from the show's main characters, SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward and Mr. Krabs. The Serbian star was seen wearing these shoes on the court. Four colorways arrive for the 361 Big3 Future High sneakers with the "SpongeBob" iteration arriving in all yellow featuring hints of translucent green on the midsole and a brown rubber outsole. The "Patrick Star" iteration comes in the character's peachy and yellow color scheme while the "Squidward" arrives in a muted green and purple and "Mr. Krabs" comes in an icy translucent make and coral red.
Each of the shoes feature a corresponding character tag and features a double-layer engine drive (Qu!kCQTECH, SOAR PLATE, Qu!kFLAMECQT) for responsiveness and cushioning. The shoe comes with a fork-shape carob-fiber plate for explosive propulsion, C!LK upper for support and rubber outsole for traction.
The 361 Degrees Big3 Future Spongebob collection is now available online for $199 USD.
