Mattel Television Studios welcomes three new hires as the company prepares for new scripted, unscripted, and documentary projects.

Mattel has bolstered its executive lineup at Mattel Television Studios with the addition of three seasoned professionals. This comes as the studio prepares to premiere 16 new series and specials this year, with an additional 14 currently in production. Amy Suh has been named Head of Creative, Live Action; Cory Bennett Lewis is the new Head of Production; and Sidney Clifton has been welcomed as Head of Creative, Animation. Each new hire brings a wide range of experience across the entertainment industry.

As we together build a home for best-in-class creators, taking Mattel’s iconic IP to make innovative, inspiring, and entertaining TV series that reflect the diverse and inclusive world we live in for our muti-generational fans, I look forward to the amazing work this exceptionally talented, female-led studio will do.
Michelle Mendelovitz, Global Head of Mattel Television Studios

Suh previously worked as a Senior Development Executive in Co-Production for Amazon Studios. She was part of projects such as Noir, Silk, and Kay Scarpetta. Prior to this, Suh was a Senior Executive on the Genre Development team. Suh’s experience before Amazon includes work with Sony Pictures Television and Fox Networks Group.

Lewis most recently served as J.J. Abrams’ Head of Production at Bad Robot, managing production, visual effects, and post-production. Lewis has worked on several major franchises, including Star Wars, Star Trek, Mission Impossible, and more.

Clifton boasts more than 20 years of experience as an executive producer and development executive. Before joining Mattel, she worked as Producer and Senior Vice President of Animation and Mixed Media at The Jim Henson Co. She also has previous experience at Deluxe Animation Studios, Riot Games, and more.

The three new hires join as Mattel Television Studios continues to expand production, with more than 30 series and specials in development. The studio is creating new content inspired by fan-favorite brands, including Barbie, Hot Wheels, and more.
