This coming weekend marks the start of the Windup Watch Fair calendar, with the always fun show kicking things off in San Francisco. The event, which has been run for the past several years and also includes stops in Chicago and New York City, welcomes over 80 brands to San Francisco – including Hodinkee Insurance!
Our own Head of Hodinkee Insurance, Marc Hajjar – both the Head of Hodinkee Insurance and a licensed insurance agent – will be on-site and ready to answer any questions you may have about how Hodinkee can help you easily insure your watches and jewelry – including engagement rings, earrings, necklaces, and other precious items.
For the uninitiated, the Windup Watch Fair is Worn & Wound's premiere enthusiast event. Brands from around the world, many of which don't have physical retail spaces, come together with watch and gear lovers for a three-day weekend to talk shop, buy and sell watches, and experience enthusiasm as a community. For the San Francisco outing, here are the show details:

Hodinkee Insurance is a brand new exhibitor for the show (you can find us at Booth 56 on the second level) and joins other new entrants like Doxa, Topo Designs, Leica, Bellroy, and many more. Alongside all of the amazing brands, the event also includes three full days of programming for the attending audience, including chats, photo walks, workshops, and meetups.
If you're curious about the wide world of watch and jewelry insurance, Marc Hajjar and Worn & Wound's Managing Editor, Zach Kazan, are hosting a chat called "Collection Protection." They will be digging into the ins and outs of insuring your collection, and the talk will take place at 2:30 PM on Saturday, May 4th.
We'll be on-site all weekend, and the Hodinkee Insurance booth will also be providing complimentary issues of Hodinkee Magazine (while supplies last). So don't delay – we hope to see you in San Francisco for what will certainly be a great weekend at the Windup Watch Fair.
