Miniland, renowned for its innovative educational toys and games, has unveiled its latest endeavor: Innovators in Inclusion. This initiative solidifies Miniland’s commitment to leading the charge in creating inclusive toys, and fostering values of tolerance, diversity, positive self-esteem, respect, and kindness.
Clara Roque, National Sales Manager for Miniland USA, emphasizes the company’s dedication to normalizing differences and promoting acceptance from early childhood. She states, “Everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and accepted, and there is no better way to learn that lesson than through play.”
In recent years, Miniland has garnered numerous accolades for its groundbreaking products, including dolls featuring Down syndrome and hearing implants, blocks depicting diverse families, and communicative games facilitating emotional expression in children. Collaborations with organizations like the National Down Syndrome Society and influencers within related communities have further propelled Miniland’s mission.
Miniland will spotlight its Innovators in Inclusion campaign throughout April and May through national media and social platforms. The focus will be on the company’s expanded Colourful Dolls Edition line, notably featuring the newest addition, Baby Doll with Vitiligo. Additionally, partnerships with influencers and retailers will amplify the message of inclusive play.
“We are so grateful for the support the toy industry has shown us since we first launched our brand in the U.S.,” Roque says. “We are both honored and humbled by the impact our products have made among consumers and other manufacturers who were inspired to follow in our footsteps.”
As Miniland continues to champion inclusion, its influence extends beyond products, shaping a more empathetic and inclusive society.
