On the heels of the NBA regular season and ahead of the forthcoming playoffs, James Harden and adidas Basketball have dropped a new mini-film dubbed “UNO”.
The “UNO” film derives from James’ “Under No One” mentality.
“UNO means number 1, but also means ‘Under No One.’ We feel like we are the biggest, we don’t put ourselves under anyone. We are very respectful, but we carry ourselves with a different swagger and confidence than a lot of people.” – James Harden via adidas.
The film which is centered around Harden and his Vol. 8 kicks, was voiced over by rapper EST Gee while the track is titled ‘UNO.’ In the film, James Harden goes back to his roots in Artesia, where he played high school basketball. It gives a peek into James’ personal narrative and perspective on his life and career. The crew filmed at Artesia High School, and while there, Harden gave out pairs of his new Harden Vol. 8 kicks to the Artesia High School basketball team. Check out the film below!
