New Balance and Japanese fashion brand AURALEE will continue their partnership with the release of the highly anticipated AURALEE x New Balance Warped Runner collaboration. 

The New Balance Warped Runner is a fairly new silhouette that combines cutting-edge technology with a timeless design. The model pushes the boundaries of what a traditional New Balance lifestyle silhouette embodies, with an innovative design that distorts and warps the familiar. This collaboration with AURALEE features updated materials, coloring and details to create two clean and versatile iterations of the model. Constructed out of premium nubuck, suede and mesh, the sneaker’s upper features nods to iconic New Balance running designs with its oval shape as a futuristic interpretation of retro running models. The midsole features soft, sculpted FuelCell technology with a medial stability post and forefoot cushioning, as well as an exaggerated crash pad design in the heel. The warped outsole design undercuts and wraps around the midsole and includes a unique, wavy tread pattern with a vintage-effect wax treatment. Being that this is a collab, co-branding is spotted on the insert and and custom shoe box. 

Available in your choice of Navy or Cream, the AURALEE x New Balance Warped Runner will launch globally on April 18 on NewBalance.com. The press release with full details and corresponding assets can be found HERE.
