Baltimore’s Vu Skateshop will be linking up with New Balance Numeric to drop a special collaborative iteration of the 440v2. Not only does this partnership underscores Vu’s commitment to boosting New Balance skate shops’ visibility and the local skate scene, it also reinforces Vu Skateshop’s pivotal role in shaping Baltimore’s skate culture and beyond.

Previewed below, the Vu Skateshop x New Balance Numeric 440v2 blends 990 series’ classic look with skate performance. Design details include Grey suede overlays, mesh side panels and reflective New Balance logos. A closer look also unveils textured 990v3 tongue, Orange felt lining and a custom chess-themed insole that draws inspiration from Baltimore’s formstone architecture.

Retailing for $80, the Vu Skateshop x New Balance Numeric 440v2 made its debut on the Vu Skateshop website on April 10th, with a wider release hitting other select skate shops on April 15th.
