Adidas will be linking up with CLICK’s owner, Eric “Shake” James, to release a sneaker for the city of Milwaukee. Dubbed the Shake x adidas Rivalry Low 414 Day, this special interpretation of the Rivalry Low was made for Milwaukee’s 414 Day as it looks to celebrate the city’s essence. Shake, who is a proud Milwaukeean, is known for collaborating with adidas Cornerstone Community for local events.
Previewed below, the Shake x adidas Rivalry Low 414 Day embodies Milwaukee’s spirit as it comes dressed in Cream and Green hues.The choice of colors is a nod to both the Milwaukee Bucks and Wisconsin’s cheese heritage. Symbolizing the city’s beer culture, the sneaker also features a pint glass emblem, while Shake’s hip-hop roots inspire the signature microphone keychains that will also come with the shoes.
Shake and adidas Cornerstone Community prioritize community support in Milwaukee. Through J.A.Y. Academy, they have been able to host numerous events and achieved significant milestones. In the near future, you can also expect wellness workshops, a community space, and youth scholarships.
Additionally, this weekend, leading to 414 Day, free footwear design workshops will be offered. Local students will receive sneakers to customize, fostering creativity and community engagement. A release party on April 12 will also feature performances by Lil Kim and others.
Retailing for $130, the Shake x adidas Rivalry Low 414 Day is set to release on April 13th at CLICKS. It will also be available online at clickskicks.net, with the first 414 pairs numbered 414.
