Room One Cards, a Hong Kong-based startup company, is teaming up with Legendary Pictures in the U.S. and Toho Co. in Japan to launch a Kickstarter campaign for playing cards inspired by Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.
There are four decks of cards in the campaign: two standard decks based on Godzilla and Kong respectively, and two special editions with 3D and foil-stamped boxes. The special editions also feature foiled and gilded cards.

All four decks feature cards inspired by the epic monsters, including court cards that feature Godzilla and Kong in different poses and numbered cards that feature hints at the monsters. The Godzilla decks feature black cards while the Kong decks feature white cards. Fans can get each deck individually, bundled in duos, or all in one collector’s box.
Within 12 hours of launch, the project raised more than $10,000. There are still 19 days left to back the campaign, with the decks expected to ship starting in July.
