Bike maker Huffy has signed on with a new exclusive global licensing agent: Earthbound. The company is preparing to expand into new category offerings and grow its global consumer base.
With Earthbound’s assistance, Huffy plans to expand into new product categories both within the U.S. and in key international markets. Earthbound has been operating as a global licensing, brand management, and retail service company for 24 years. The licensing agency has partnered with Walmart, Bose, and others.
Huffy is a revolutionary brand that redefined what it meant to have fun. While they are a leader in the bicycle and wheeled goods industry, there's an enormous opportunity to expand their reach into new categories domestically.
Huffy has a long history of designing and manufacturing bikes, with roots back to 1924. The company boasts the introduction of the first training wheels in 1949, and has released a full portfolio of bikes, scooters, and more designed for kids since then.
Huffy has seen success in the kids’ bike market. The company has several licensing agreements with children’s brands, developing bikes featuring characters from Disney, Marvel, PAW Patrol, and more.
Huffy currently offers a wide range of bikes, scooters, and ride-ons, with everything from preschool scooters to the Green Machine drift trike. With Earthbound representing it, the company hopes to further expand its offerings and market presence.
