American multi-hyphenate Matthew M Williams has recently reprised his partnership with Nike by launching a collaborative yoga collection, a project he previously teased in an interview with Hypebeast when discussing his label 1017 ALYX 9SM’s Nike Air Force 1 Low collaboration late last year. In addition to highlighting the apparel range, a new sneaker silhouette was teased throughout promotional material for the yoga-themed collection. Now, we have a complete look at the new shoe: the Nike Zoom MMW 6 TRD Run.
Featuring a shape reminiscent of Nike's race-ready Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT% line, the Zoom MMW 6 TRD Run sports a lightweight knit upper and a large, sculpted sole unit with Air visible at the forefoot. Arriving first in "Triple Black," the colorway lacks any color throughout its build, opting for a tonal finish for its lateral heel's reverse Swooshes while the "MMW" branding at the tongue replicates this approach as well. A gray iteration was also teased, though a closer look at the arrangement has not surfaced just yet.
At the time of writing, neither Matthew M Williams nor Nike have confirmed when their Zoom MMW 6 TRD Run silhouette will be making its debut. Stay tuned for updates as it's likely to arrive in the coming weeks via Nike SNKRS, 1017 ALYX 9SM and select retailers. Based on product pages that boutiques accidentally published early, it's likely to cost around $300 USD.
