Dubbed the Serena Williams Design Crew x Nike Air Max 1 “Los Angeles”, this women’s offering of the Nike Air Max 1 honors the City of Angels which Serena Williams calls home. Done in an elegant color makeup of Particle Beige, Rust Pink, and Light Bone, this Nike Air Max 1 begins with a tan mesh construction on the base of the upper with Particle Beige leather and suede overlays for a premium appearance. Design highlights include Nike LA written on the tongues, Los Angeles written on the plush velvet insoles, and decorative lines reminiscent of low-rider pin-striping on the mudguards as a nod to LA’s car culture. Finishing details include Serena’s logo on the heels and rose gold detailing on the upper eyelets and lace dubraes.
