The LEGO Group is launching the Creativity Workshop Series, an in-store and at-home initiative to foster connections for young builders ages 6-12 in person and online.
The series will include in-person Creativity Workshops held at select LEGO Stores across the Americas, Europe, Southwest Asia, and Africa and Creativity at Home Online Workshops.
The Workshop’s first theme is friendship, where builders can customize a themed trophy with help from Brick Specialists at select LEGO stores. Singer Nadine Coyle first leads the Creativity at Home Online Workshop, encouraging building fun from the screen. For the Creativity at Home Online Workshops, builders and families can celebrate by crafting the friendship trophy, memory box, and photo frame.
“I love seeing young creators unleash their inner awesome and connecting with each other, which is why I’m so proud to be collaborating with the LEGO Group on the new Creativity Workshop series,” says Nadine Coyle. “My Friendship-themed workshop is just brilliant for that — showing young creators how to build something they can share with their besties. Seeing the potential for young people to build lasting friendships through creative play is so exciting, and I can’t wait to see how this workshop inspires their building adventure.”
This new Creativity Workshop Series mirrors The LEGO Group’s dedication to celebrating girls’ creativity. Botanical and summer fun themes will follow.
