People of Play (POP) is bringing the industry together at its 25th annual Toy Fair POP Pub Event March 3. Hosted at Connolly’s Pub in Manhattan, the event will unite toy and game professionals for networking, celebration, and philanthropy. Ticket sales benefit POP’s Young Inventor Challenge (YIC), which inspires and empowers young toy and game innovators.

Tickets for the event are $20, a symbolic price reflecting the YIC’s 20th anniversary. The challenge is held annually in November as part of POP Week. Kids ages 6 to 18 develop and pitch their ideas to professionals and are nurtured in creativity, confidence, and real-world development skills through mentorship, feedback, and competitions. Members of the community suffering from FOMO are encouraged to donate.

“The POP Pub event has always been about bringing the industry together, and this year, we’re excited to use that energy to support our young inventors,” says Mary Couzin, Senior Vice President and Founder/Leader Of People Of Play at The Toy Association. “Whether you celebrate with us in person or are able to donate toward the cause, your contribution helps spark the imagination of the next generation of creators.”

POP Pub will be held March 3 at 6 p.m. Connolly’s Pub is located at 121 W 45th St. Tickets are $20. Purchase your ticket in advance online at chitag.com/industry-get-togethers.
