The LEGO Group and Universal Products and Experiences are teaming up to launch the new LEGO Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus rex (T.rex).
This complicated but entertaining building set is the largest LEGO Jurassic World set to date. The set features an intricate T. rex fossil skeleton that’s more than three feet long and includes 3,145 LEGO pieces, perfect for committed collectors and builders.
The LEGO Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils set has articulated joints, a movable head, arms, and tail, and an opening jaw, allowing for endless customization. Equipped with a display stand, information plaque, and hidden Jurassic Park Easter eggs, including an “amber” piece, this set evokes nostalgia and authenticity, appealing to the fans.
This set further caters to fans of the beloved 1993 Jurassic Park film, featuring LEGO Minifigures of the iconic movie characters Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Alan Grant. In addition to the T. rex and LEGO Minifigures, this set includes a coffee-table-style instruction book that guides builders throughout creation and highlights unique design details, movie moments, and T. rex dinosaur facts. With the LEGO Builder app, builders can also track their process, rotate models in 3D, and zoom in on their work, elevating the experience.
The LEGO Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus Rex set is available for LEGO Insiders on March 12 at LEGO Stores and online at www.LEGO.com/JurassicTrex, and it will be available to the general public on March 15.
