Upper Deck is partnering with Gearbox Entertainment Company to create licensed collectibles inspired by its vault of popular video games, namely the Borderlands and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands sagas.
The collaboration will kick off this spring with a strategic card game that captures the chaos fans love about Gearbox’s iconic games. In Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: The Chaos Chamber, players face off against fantastical foes from the game, from Skeleton Warriors and Goblins to the fearsome Banshee. After choosing a hero class, players will roll 20-sided dice, play cards, and battle their way through the enemies to collect points and other legendary loot.
We’re excited to transport the Borderlands and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands universes off the screen and into fans’ hands with these really unique collectibles and games. Video game collectibles as a whole are still a relatively new concept, and we’re utilizing our gaming expertise to deliver new experiences to fans, including the ability to collect their favorite game characters.”
Alongside the game, Upper Deck will also launch limited-edition art prints and trading cards that feature fan-favorite characters like Paladin Mike, The Dragon Lord, Wastard, and many more. With vibrant colors and designs, these unique collectibles bring Gearbox’s weird and wacky worlds to life for video game fans in a brand-new way.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: The Chaos Chamber and other Gearbox collectibles will be available later this spring. For more information about the upcoming licensing collaboration, visit Upper Deck’s website.
