It’s finally happening … Women in Toys, Licensing & Entertainment (WiT) is heading west to celebrate “The Wonder in Every Woman” in Los Angeles.
The 2024 Wonder Women Awards Gala will take place in LA this year, three years after its initial attempt to switch coasts was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021. This year’s event is poised to be even stronger as its timing — Friday the 13th of September — coincides with the growing LA Fall Toy Previews that bring much of the U.S. and global toy industries together in the Greater Los Angeles area.
With past guests and honorees at the New York-hosted Galas leaning heavily into the “Entertainment” side of WiT, this year brings the action right into the entertainment capital as it unites top industry executives from manufacturers, entertainment studios, retailers, media outlets, and the world’s most iconic brand owners to “honor the brilliant women whose innovation and leadership ignite and uplift our industry.”
This year’s Awards program introduces new “team” awards recognizing collaborative efforts alongside the traditional individual award categories.

Nominations for the 2024 Wonder Women Awards are open now through Friday, April 19, 2024.
While the location of the Gala will be revealed in the months ahead, proceeds from the event will benefit The WiT Foundation Scholarship Program, and fund vitally important programming that delivers on the WiT mission of advancing and advocating for women.
