At this year’s International Toy Fair in Nuremberg (Spielwarenmesse), Playmobil fulfilled its promise to create new and innovative ideas. Following last year’s announcement of “setting off into the future,” the company is implementing new brand positioning strategies and exploring innovative play concepts for all ages. 

One of Playmobil’s innovative concepts is Sky Trails, a haptic experience that combines construction, action, and creative play. Consumers can use Sky Trails to design and build courses, send figures in the air, and invent new stories for playtime. Sky Trails will arrive on the market starting this fall. 

While integrating new ideas, Playmobil continued its mission of offering innovative sets for imaginative play. Consumers can expect new contemporary-themed worlds and modern implementation in upcoming sets. Future role-play experiences include a new Vacation on the Beach range, an Animals & Friends theme, and an expansion on the Action Heroes line. 

Playmobil also introduced new ranges for kidult audiences. The company will introduce cars in mini formats alongside expansions for Miraculous and the Asterix series.
