The Petting Zoo has released its new collection. Built with eco-conscious materials and sustainably focused, wearable plush and cuddly critters are the focus of new products for kids and are available for purchase by specialty retailers.
The new line includes plush backpacks and purses featuring popular animals like cheetahs, Highland cows, axolotls, and cryptozoological bigfoot. “We wanted to create something kids would adore and parents would appreciate,” said Catherine Pluchino, Creative Director. “With lots of textures and delightful designs, these purses are both adorable and practical, making them an easy choice for retailers looking for standout products.”

The new collection includes the Earth Keeperz line. Each plush has hand-drawn eyes and embroidered details to invoke lifelike realism. The ultrasoft fabrics are derived from recycled water bottles. Plushes are filled with weighted clay beads. “Earth Keeperz isn’t just a toy line — it’s a way to inspire the next generation of stewards for the planet,” said JoRoy Lizewski, VP of Product Development. “Every detail, from the lifelike eyes to the eco-friendly materials, tells a story of care and connection.”
This year’s collection also includes a new line, the Rescue Slings collection, inspired by real-world rescue tools. The Petting Zoo aims for Rescue Slings to sell in zoo and aquarium gift shops.
The Petting Zoo also unveiled 20 new additions to its Slapstix collection. Slapstix are plush animals that function as wearable slap bracelets. Among the latest designs is a dinosaur collection with a roaring T. rex and a velociraptor.
