Last year, Chuck E. Cheese retired Munch’s Make-Believe Band from all but five locations,. Now, collectors can take the beloved animatronic band home to join their collection in the form of bobbleheads!
This limited-edition bobblehead display features Chuck E. Cheese and Helen on the microphones, Mr. Munch on the keys, Jasper on the guitar, and Pasqually on the drums. All five band members are standing on a rectangular base in front of a backdrop featuring the Munch’s Make-Believe Band logo. Collectors can also grab a stand-alone bobblehead featuring the current Chuck E. Cheese design.
“We’re excited to unveil this replica singing bobblehead of Munch’s Make-Believe Band – a staple at Chuck E. Cheese for nearly 40 years,” says Phil Sklar, National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO. “When Chuck E. Cheese announced that the band would be retired from most locations, we knew that a bobblehead replica of the band would be the perfect way for fans to be able to commemorate Mr. Munch’s iconic Make-Believe Band!”
“The power of the Chuck E. Cheese brand is its undeniable multi-generation love and appeal,” says Melissa McLeanas, Vice President of Global Licensing, Media, and Entertainment for CEC Entertainment. “As we continue to grow and evolve with our families, our licensed merchandise program is a way to bring our iconic characters to fans of all ages from each era of our legacy, and we are excited to join the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame with both Chuck E. Cheese and his bandmates.”
The Munch’s Make-Believe Band Bobblehead sets are individually numbered up to 2,025 and are available exclusively at store.bobbleheadhall.com. Both that and the modern-day Charles E. Cheese bobbleheads are available for preorder now and are expected to ship in April.
