Japanese footwear specialists Suicoke have released a bevy of new styles and colorways for Spring/Summer 2024. Since 2006, Suicoke has become a maintstay between the worlds of street and high fashion for its innovative design choices and sought-after collabortions, including link-ups with Mastermind, Brain Dead and Lanvin, amongst others.
Suicoke's new line boasts a number of crowd favorites, such as the double velcro-strapped MOTO-VS (now available in a mocha brown and beige), as well as the ZAVO-Mab with warm fur lining on the interior and the MOTO-CAB-ECO, the latter made of 76 percent recycled materials.
The more zany designs, however, have always been the hallmark of Suicoke's aesthetic and the latest collection makes no compromises. Starting with the VFF BY VIBRAM NIN-LO, the glove-like silhouette takes users as close to the ground without all the frills of an upper or midsole, appearing more like a flipper for the urban streets, rather than a sandal or sneaker. The VFF comes available in a sleek black iteration, as well as neon green, a combination of yellow and grey, along with a lower top option in the aforementioned color palettes.
Conversely, the BOMA-AB appears like a sneaker from the front, with the back of a slip-on sandal. Dressed in a supple brown suede upper, the hybrid sandal is complemented with green nylon and mesh accents throughout and a toggle fastening at the top of the tongue.
