Miraculous Corp Adds Two Executive Appointments Ahead of 10th Anniversary

Miraculous Corp, the joint venture of Mediawan and ZAG, has expanded its global leadership team and named Heath Kenny, Chief Content Officer, and Ashley Depp, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Franchise, as part of its mission to grow the brand internationally. 

Kenny joins Miraculous from Mercury Filmworks and Gaumont, where he was Chief Content Officer and oversaw the production of several series. In previous roles, he collaborated with Disney and DreamWorks Animation. He will oversee the creation, development, and delivery of content. Kenny plans to elevate the brand’s storytelling while remaining aligned with its mission and values.

“The world of Miraculous is a treasure trove of untold stories, and as a long-time fan, I’m honored to collaborate with the brilliant creators and the exceptional international team who constantly deliver captivating content for our passionate global audience,” said Kenny. “We are already planning exciting new developments that will expand the adventures of Ladybug and Cat Noir, introducing new characters, and exploring spin-off series that will further enrich the Miraculous universe.”

Depp is a former executive at Paramount Pictures and Universal Studios, where she served as Vice President of Global Marketing Strategy. In her five years at Paramount, she led strategist for Top Gun: Maverick and Sonic the Hedgehog. As Vice President of Retail Development at Universal Studios, she led strategies in e-commerce and retail marketing for popular franchises, including Jurassic Park, Despicable Me, and Trolls. She will amplify Miraculous’s narrative voice while implementing marketing strategies to increase global awareness of the brand. Depp plans to drive innovative campaigns and enhance cross-platform engagement to shape growth and encourage global market success.

The Miraculous franchise will celebrate its 10th anniversary next year. A second Miraculous film is in production, while the sixth season of Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir will air early next year with a fourth TV special in the fall.
