Transformers turned 40 this year, and the legendary action figure brand continues to celebrate in a big way.
At Cybertron Con 2024 in Shanghai, attendees were grated product reveals, including Hasbro’s Transformers collaboration with SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog franchise and the new Transformers: Age of the Primes toy line.
A standout from the line includes the Transformers: Age of the Primes Titan Class, the Thirteen Star Optimus Prime. The $89.99 15-inch action figure converts from truck mode to battle station mode in 36 steps and comes with a cannon blaster, shoulder blasters, and other unparalleled features. The Age of the Primes line opens up the world of Primes, which fans can collect to create their perfect Age of the Primes lineup.
Another notable product from the releases is the Sonic the Hedgehog x Transformers Wingtail and Blue Booster Action Figures. Priced at $49.99, the Sonic-inspired Blue Booster turns into a car, while the Tails-inspired Wingtail converts into a biplane.
The new products are part of Hasbro’s spring and summer 2025 offerings and will be available for preorder on Dec. 10 at 1 p.m. ET on hasbropulse.com and through select retailers. The Sonic the Hedgehog x Transformers line collaboration is available exclusively at Target.
