PUMA and atmos have partnered up with ATLUS for a collaborative Palermo sneaker inspired by the RPG game, Persona 3 Reload. Taking cues from the main characters’ uniforms, the shoe comes in a monochromatic and red color palette.
Its smooth leather upper arrives in a predominantly white base to contrast its rubber outsole, lateral overall, sockliner and laces in black. This is offset by a bright red tongue, which features the game’s logo with a PUMA twist. Emblazoned over the the quarter overlays are imprinted letterings, reading “Mass Destruction” — a nod to the game’s theme song.
The color is reiterated on the underside of the soles in the form of “S.E.E.S.” lettering which references the “Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad” from Persona 3 Reload.
The triple collaborative sneaker will first be released through a time-limited raffle via atmos, taking place from December 9, 10 a.m. JST to December 1, 8:59 a.m. JST. Starting December 24, the sneaker will be widely available through the atmos Tokyo website as well as its physical locations.
