Marking the partners' third collaborative capsule, Our Legacy Work Shop and Italian footwear brand ROA have unveiled a reworked version of ROA's signature Andreas boot in black and brown leather variants.
The forthcoming capsule is imbued with the ethos of both brands, recalling their respective origins in their elegant make-up. Sourced from a tannery in Tärnsjö Garveri, Sweden, Vacchetta leather offcuts lay the foundation for the boots, which are constructed and finished in Italy. The uppers are then finished with a traditional vegetable tanning process, connecting the design to Our Legacy Work Shop's methodology of adding layers of character to repurposed materials with special processes.
Adding dimension and emphasis to the hiking style, protective matte and hairy suede overlays trace the lower section of the uppers, as lugged Vibram soles boast a prominent arch for a more contemporary flair. Subtle utilitarian embellishments are found in the duo-tone rope laces and the exaggerated heel-tabs, which protrude from the counter. While ROA's logo is discreetly featured on the black suede overlays, Our Legacy's circular emblem is displayed centrally on the lateral side of the leather uppers, and "WORK SHOP" is embossed across the tongues of the left and right shoes.
The Our Legacy Work Shop x ROA Andreas Boots are set for release tomorrow, December 3 at the Our Legacy web store.
