Update: Revealed at the beginning of the year, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Shadow" is set to arrive this May and has just been officially unveiled by the Swoosh. Its throwback arrangement stays true to the original gray and black color blocking across a leather upper. It remains expected to launch on May 10 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $140 USD. For more info about the pair, stay tuned for its official announcement and dive into our initial breakdown below.
Original Story: It may only be the second week of 2024, but the year is already loaded with much-anticipated Air Jordan 1 Low OG releases on the way. Everything from more Travis Scott-approved colorways to a "Year of the Dragon" pair and Trophy Room collaboration is on the way as the silhouette continues to dominate the market for Jordan Brand.
Adding to the shoe's already exciting roster, the OG "Shadow" colorway is being prepared for the Air Jordan 1 Low OG. Our first look at the sneaker reveals that it utilizes a standard leather upper with black and gray going back and forth across its build. Its gray hue touches down on the perforated toe box, Swooshes, heel and the Nike Air branding at the tongue tag while black coats the remainder of the upper. Supporting the sneaker, a white stitched midsole rests atop a black rubber outsole.
At the time of writing, no release info pertaining to the Air Jordan 1 Low OG in this "Shadow" colorway has been shared by the Swoosh. However, it's currently expected to touch down on shelves via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $140 USD on May 10. Stay tuned for updates as we await official confirmation and imagery.
