SUICOKE has joined forces with SOUTH2 WEST8 to bring its rugged sensibilities to the tactical footwear maker's BOWER-ECO and PEPPER-ECO models. The Japanese apparel brand's identity is imbued into the respective boot and mule silhouettes through two eye-catching prints: SOUTH2 WEST8's signature native-inspired pattern and its rustic interpretation of real-tree camouflage.
The SOUTH2 WEST8 BOWER-ECO features ankle-height uppers, made with a puffer construction and 3M™ Thinsulate™ optimized for cold winter weather. As in the existing variants, bungee cord laces wrap around the ankle and interlace over the tongueless toe box. Visible zig-zag stitches emphasize the collar and rubber taping extends up from the midsole and covers the tips for waterproof protection.
Aside from the low-cut collar, the PEPPER-ECO model mirrors the BOWER-ECO design closely. However, wide-set eyestays and toecaps provide the mule style with the effect of a reimaged Mary Jane silhouette.
SOUTH2 WEST8's signature geometric pattern is applied to a lighter cream-hued colorway with tan midsoles, while the camouflage colorway is dominated by all-black details for a more discreet style. Both colorways feature white speckling for added texture on the treaded outsoles.
The SUICOKE x SOUTH2 WEST8 footwear collection will be released on November 2, online and in-store at SUICOKE and NEPENTHES.
