Update: Just a couple of days ago we caught a glimpse at what to expect from Salehe Bembury's next New Balance project. Now, with Bembury officially teasing the pair in the embedded Instagram post below, additional looks at the sneaker have surfaced via early pairs. On top of the previously-outlined inclusion of bright yellow throughout the kicks, pink serves as an accent color around the heel alongside teal at the midfoot and silver at the branding elements and toe overlay. Neither Bembury nor New Balance have discussed when the pair will be dropping, however, it's safe to assume that it will hit shelves by the end of the year, likely via BeASpunge, New Balance and select retailers.

Original Story: Kicking off the year with their 1906R "Heat Be Hot" pack, Salehe Bembury and New Balance look to have another project on the way. They have connected many times over the years and, despite Bembury taking the lead role at Crocs' new Pollex division, the duo continues to work together closely.
This time around, as revealed via a pair that leaked early via the Instagram post that is embedded below, the two have connected on the New Balance 530. While the 530 has been somewhat inactive lately outside of in-line launches, it was reworked into a deconstructed, "super light" version by Miu Miu earlier this year. In our brief and limited preview of Bembury's take on the silhouette, it looks to stay true to its '90s retro build, combining it with a wild color palette in typical Bembury fashion. The mesh and suede upper hosts a bright yellow hue while featuring a silver "N" logo at the lateral. As for the heel area, a "SALEHE BEMBURY"-branded stitched tag rests just beneath the shoe's typical "530" hit at the lateral. Supporting the sneaker, an ABZORB-backed midsole appears in a darker yellow while a purple outsole rounds things out.
At the time of writing, neither Salehe Bembury nor New Balance have acknowledged this upcoming project so no firm release details have been disclosed just yet. Stay tuned for updates, including a complete look at the pair, as we expect it to release sometime in the next year via BeASpunge, New Balance and select retailers.
