The sneaker you see below is named the Off-White The Baller. This latest release from Off-White is a basketball performance model that combines the late Virgil Abloh’s vision with innovation to create a look that’s like no other in the current basketball footwear division by Art and Image Director Ib Kamara.
The Off-White The Baller was officially revealed at Milan Fashion Week during their “BLACK BY POPULAR DEMAND” presentation.
The Off-White The Baller stands out due to the uniquely designed upper that is meant to mimic the look and feel of a basketball. Constructed out of a pebbled leather, each colorway features Black lines defining panels as well as fonts and phrases that include “AUTOGRAPH HERE” and “FOR ANKLE BREAKERS ONLY,” that not only gives it that Off-White vibe, but also further adds to the basketball inspiration/culture. Off-White branding, an Orange rubberized toe cap and rubber outsole are all also details worth pointing out on The Baller that’s sure to get the audience talking.
As of right now, the Off-White The Baller is set to release either late 2024 or early Spring 2025. No word yet on the MSRP or specific details on the tech used on the sneaker. Stay tuned as this story develops.
