Following the success of her Nike Shox mules, Martine Rose's next Nike collaboration is rumored to pivot to an archival 2001 sneaker. While the images in the gallery above show the original model, the British menswear designer, known for her forward-thinking perspective, will work with the brand on a new variant for their ongoing partnership.
Like Rose's Shox styles, the Air Max Craze boasts a slip-on silhouette that recalls recent mule styles that have dominated footwear for the last few years. Rather than offering a fully exposed back, the model boasts a heel strap that extends from the arched soles and a shallow counter to ensure a secure fit.
Free of excess overlays, the printed neoprene uppers trade laces for a zippered closure, and prominent pull tabs protrude from the heel strap and front collar. Chunky soles include orange Nike Air units for cushioning and an exaggerated arch.
While a release date has not been formally announced, Martine Rose's Air Max Craze is rumored to be released in Fall 2025. Stay tuned to Hypebeast for updates on the collaboration.
