The LEGO Group has partnered with musician Jacob Collier and COLORSxSTUDIOS (COLORS) in an effort to encourage adults to unwind. The partnership follows a global research study that found that 9 in 10 adults believe rest and relaxation are crucial to finding happiness.
The LEGO Group and COLORS enlisted Collier, a Grammy-award-winning artist, to demonstrate the importance of letting loose and self-exploration. Collier’s five-minute video “Little Blue” highlights how experimentation and creativity can help one find one’s happy place — much like free-building with LEGO bricks. Collier is shown connecting with his instruments and building with LEGO.
“I have always found interacting LEGO bricks as a deep way to forge this connection. Over the past twenty years, my family and I have been building an ever-expanding city made entire of LEGO elements,” says Collier. “It’s a communal creation, and we still find ourselves building and adding to the city, even today in amongst our busy lives. I’m so honored to have a chance to collaborate with the incredible LEGO Group and COLORSxSTUDIOS to bring the idea of ‘finding your happy place’ to life in this way.”
COLORS is a German music performance platform. Widely regarded as one of the biggest live music channels on YouTube, it hosts minimalist performances with up-and-coming artists with the goal to help artist step into the limelight and reach a global audience. Previous artists include Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, and Takeoff.
