In the late ’90s, éS skater Chad Muska put out his first signature sneaker: a popular, chunky-soled model known as the éS Muska. The shoe, which was also the first skating footwear unit to be priced at $100 USD, became one of the decade's most adored silhouettes. Now, after reimagining the sneaker in a vegan "Tan/Green" colorway earlier this year, éS Skateboarding has revamped the shoe in a "Black/Royal" scheme.
The colorway first appeared 25 years ago in a photo of Muska sitting on a graffiti-tinged wall in Venice, California; however, it was never available to fans worldwide—until now.

The model houses all of the flagship silhouette's signature details, such as the hidden pocket for "top secret stuff," a molded polyurethane cage, a synthetic nubuck upper, a comfort-first tongue and a sculpted EVA footbed. The “éS Muska” logo lives on the center of the tongue, and the skate brand's iconography lands on the lace toggles and pull tabs.
The éS Muska "Black/Royal" is now available to shop in skate shops across the globe and via éS Skateboarding's webstore for $149.99 USD. Signed editions of the shoe will launch on the brand's website in the coming days. Take a closer look at the design in the gallery above.
