Saucony has steadily put out one unique project after another, leveraging its partnerships with the likes of Jae Tips and Callen Schaub to craft eye-catching colorways of its lifestyle silhouettes. Now, the brand has announced its next chapter as it teams up with Griselda Records co-founder Westside Gunn.
Westside Gunn is no stranger to the world of fashion and even appeared in our Sole Mates series last year to chat about his love for the Nike Air Force 1. However, he'll now be repping Saucony as he took to Instagram to share that he has his own collaborations with the brand in development. His behind-the-scenes look at what he's cooking up with the brand revealed that samples of the ProGrid Omni 9 and ProGrid Triumph 4 are being made, with him covering both shoes in colorful looks of orange/red and blue/yellow respectively. "IM proud to announce I’m OFFICIALLY dropping my first sneaker!!!! This is a dream come true and I just wanna thank y’all so much for believing in my ART," shared the artist on Instagram.
Stay tuned for more news regarding this exciting team-up as it's likely that we'll see a Westside Gunn x Saucony shoe on shelves sometime in 2025.
