Following the end of adidas' relationship with Kanye West a.k.a. Ye, the sportswear giant has gone back and forth about what to do with its YEEZY inventory. Just last month, it was announced that adidas changed its mind and would indeed sell its remaining YEEZY inventory this year. So to kick off the plan, adidas has introduced a "Steel Grey" colorway for the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2.
Marking the colorway's debut, "Steel Grey" washes the popular YEEZY silhouette in cool neutral tones. The shoe's knit upper appears in a light steel grey shade while the rubber sole comes in a deeper grey tone. The shoe's monochromatic build even extends to the laces, insole and heel tab.
However, it's important to note that Ye isn't pleased with the new shoes. Ye took to Instagram to explain his frustration with the new model citing that he never made the colorway, he's getting paid from them and he's still being sued by the German sportswear giant.

The cool new shade kicks off the lineup of YEEZY shoe releases that are taking place throughout the year. The new YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 "Steel Grey" will be available through adidas Confirmed App for $230 USD. Interested parties can enter the draw that opens on February 29 at 10 a.m. ET for 10 minutes.
