New Balance and UK-based retailer size? have just revealed a first look at their latest collaboration, presented as a neutral example of the 860v2 that features hints of color.
Last year, the regular collaborators released pairs like the 1906R in Green/Black and a utility-driven tan, as well as a 580 pack and 990v3 MADE in USA. As for the latest shoe, the 860v2, some commenters are drawing parallels to bacon, likely a nod to the Nike Air Max 90 "Bacon," with similar hues of pink, red and brown present in the 860v2's design.
Other notable design elements include a largely white mesh construction at the upper, accompanied by a backsplash of brown which the "N" logo sits on top of, featured in white with a red outline. Tying it all together, the collaborative shoe features cream-colored laces, complementary to a yellowed N-Ergy outsole, further accentuating the vintage Y2K look.
At the time of writing, size? hasn't shared any specific details beyond a first look, with the retail price and release date still unknown. However, more information is expected to be shared via its official social channel or online site soon.
