Update: It's been half a year since word of a new "Phantom" rendition of the Air Jordan 12 first surfaced. Now, we have an initial preview of the kicks courtesy of the Instagram gallery that is embedded below. As expected, the sneaker sports an off-white build that is accented by "Metallic Gold" detailing at the midfoot. Release is now set for December 2 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers in women's sizing at a price of $200 USD.

Original Story: A silhouette that has been surprisingly absent in Jordan Brand's lineup of launches for 2024 thus far is the Air Jordan 12. The beloved design closed out last year with the return of the "Cherry" colorway and has remained mostly quiet in the time since. However, that is now said to be changing as sneaker leakers zSneakerHeadz and Mr_Unloved1s have shared another rumor, following up on recent reveals including two A Ma Maniére x Jordan Brand collaborations and another "Olive"-colored Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG.
The latest news from the duo centers around the Air Jordan 12 this time, noting that a "Phantom" colorway featuring "Metallic Gold" accents is expected to be arriving for a holiday release. Pictured via mock-up above, the colorway will possibly look similar to Drake's white OVO x Air Jordan 12 drop from 2016, however, its exact color blocking remains unknown.
At the time of writing, we've yet to receive confirmation from Jordan Brand that a "Phantom" iteration of the Air Jordan 12 will be releasing this year.
