Hitting a milestone of 50 years of tabletop roleplaying content, Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is celebrating with a full lineup of new releases.

Dungeons & Dragons was first released in 1974, and has seen plenty of success since. The game has gone beyond the world of tabletop with licensed products, a movie, an animated series, and more. Now, Hasbro’s Wizards of the Coast is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the game by releasing new content throughout the year.

Celebrations will kick off in March with a chance for parties all over the world to play in the same adventure together. An excerpt from the upcoming Descent into the Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth will be available to players in game stores, libraries, conventions, video chat rooms, and more.

Vecna: Eve of Ruin will drop on May 21, an adventure designed for high-level play, providing plenty of challenges to characters from levels 10-20. Players will journey from the familiar Forgotten Realms to Planescape, Spelljammer, Eberron, Ravenloft, Dragonlance, and Greyhawk as they do their best to defeat Vecna.

For those D&D veterans who want to feel the nostalgia of the early days, or the newcomers who’d like to know more of their favorite game’s past, The Making of Original Dungeons & Dragons: 1970-1977 is coming June 18. The book highlights the history of D&D, including a reveal of Gary Gygax’s first draft of the game.

Also coming up from Wizards of the Coast is the release of adventure anthology Quests from the Infinite Staircase on July 16. Any players eager to try some new mechanics will also be able to get their hands on the revised Player’s Handbook on Sep. 17; the revised Dungeon Master’s Guide on Nov. 12; and the revised Monster Manual in February of next year.

Wizards of the Coast also has plans for licensing partners, such as footwear and apparel from Converse; an official LEGO Ideas building set; and food from Pop-Tarts. The company has also teased further reveals as the year rolls out.
