As August comes to a close, Halloween is just around the corner. Brands like Nike are preparing for the annual celebration of horror by outfitting its various silhouettes with thematic looks. While shoes like the Air Jordan 1 Low are expected to participate in the festivities, Nike Basketball has invited its signature athletes to join in on the fun too.
We caught a first look at a "Nightmare" colorway of the new Nike Ja 2 a few weeks ago and we now have an early look at what to expect from Devin Booker's Halloween-themed shoe. The Nike BOOK 1 is celebrating its debut year still and is set to continue to do so with a new "Halloween" pair that has just surfaced. It sports a black upper that features white stitched Swooshes on each side of the shoe. A thematic orange enters the mix at the uppermost eyelets and the tongue branding, which notably carries a stitch detailing underneath the Nike BOOK hit. Lastly, the heel's "CHAPTER ONE" text dons a staggered font that is suitable for the holiday.
At the time of writing, Nike Basketball has not yet announced its release plans for this year's Halloween-themed collection. Stay tuned for updates, including official imagery, as we expect this iteration of the BOOK 1 to drop on October 30 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $140 USD.
