Original Story: Nike is bringing back one of its OG colorways for Kevin Durant's fourth signature shoe. The Nike KD 4 "Galaxy," which was first released for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game held in Orlando, and was part of the other space-themed Zoom Kobe 7, LeBron 9 and Air Foamposite One releases. The shoe is slated to make its return next year, per a report from Nice Kicks.
The "Galaxy" colorway sees KD's fourth signature shoe dressed in metallic silver, total orange and dark grey color scheme. Returning to its original form, the shoe is set to be constructed with a metallic silver synthetic leather upper featuring total orange accents, inspired by the astronaut space suits. As a nod to astronauts, the shoe also features NASA-inspired mission patches on the tongues. The embroidered "KD" branding is seen on the heel in dark grey, while the shoe sits atop a starry-speckled midsole and a glow-in-the-dark outsole to round out the design.
Look out for the Nike KD 4 "Galaxy" releasing sometime in Spring 2024 at select retailers and online at Nike.
