New colorways of the Nike Kobe 8 Protro will be dropping in 2024. One of those colorways set to release is the Nike Kobe 8 Protro Radiant Emerald (Aqua).

Said to be arriving during the spring season, this new colorway of the Nike Kobe 8 Protro draws inspiration from Kobe’s “off-season flow.” The sneaker comes dressed in a two-tone White and Radiant color scheme. The sneaker comes equipped with a White engineered mesh base with contrasting Emerald Green accents on the Swooshes, laces, and the translucent rubber outsole. The Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Radiant Emerald” is highlighted by Kobe’s 8 and 24 jersey numbers which are repeated all throughout the upper. Recurring details such as Kobe’s logo on the tongues and insoles along with his signature on the heel counter are also in play. Finishing details include a full-length Lunarlon midsole and Zoom Air cushioning.

UPDATE (2/2): Nike has announced that the Nike Kobe 8 Protro Radiant Emerald (Aqua) is set to release on February 8th via SNKRS for the retail price of $190. This edition draws inspiration from Kobe’s “off-season flow.” This is what Nike had to say about this Kobe release:

“Kobe is the only player in NBA history to have two retired jerseys on the same team. He got there via unending focus on the game, and the Kobe 8 Protro “Aqua” is inspired by his off-season flow.
