Anthony Edwards continues his hot streak with the release of three new colorways for his first signature shoe with adidas. Following the debut of the shoe last month, Edwards and adidas are kicking off the new year with the release of the "New Wave" colorway, the black and teal pair seen worn on the court, this month. Later on, a classic black and white pair, the "Best of Adi" will be release d on March 1 to pay homage to the staple colorway for the brand.
Perhaps one of the most eye-catching one is the "Velocity Blue" colorway, set to also arrive in March. Different from the other pairs, this one is a nod to Ant's favorite color and is the brightest most intense blue adidas has as a brand. As a nod to his NBA team the Minnesota Timberwolves early era, the green feature highlights the adidas Three Stripes logo on the heel. The shoe is constructed with generative support wing -- a bold and distinct TPU design provides stability and containment, enabling athletes to play explosively in all directions while ensuring mid-foot breathability. With Jet Boost technology on the full-length of the TPU-encased shoe, the sneaker is great for explosive movements while the herringbone outsole gives superior traction for grip on the court.
The adidas AE1 "Velocity Blue" will land in retailers and online at adidas for $120 USD starting on March 8.
