Kai Cenat has officially inked a deal with Nike.
Announcing to his nine million Twitch followers on a livestream, the content creator confirmed the partnership enthusiastically stating, "I would like to announce that we are officially a part of the Nike family. This has been a long time waiting." Cenat has garnered big attention in the past couple of years. He has won Streamer of the Year for the past two years and has had big names like Nicki Minaj, Offset, 21 Savage, Lil Baby and more join him on his streams. The terms of the partnership has not yet been revealed, however, Cenat appears to be part of Nike's bigger plans to broaden its portfolio outside of sports. It seems as if this is the first deal the Swoosh has signed with a streamer, hoping to capture the Gen Z audience category.
In the livestream, Cenat teased that he has "something big" planned with Nike for an upcoming in-real-life stream in Las Vegas. He is also participating in the NBA All-Celebrity Game for Team Shannon later this month and is expected to be sporting Nike at the event. It is unclear if he will debut his new projects then.
